"Music is in the ringing bells,
Wonders engulf my every step,
Delighted am I as each passing moment has a story to tell,
Happiness and Charm lie just at the doorstep!! "
Happy Children's Day Everybody!
This is one occasion which is an awesome time to celebrate the innocence, tenderness, newness, utter happiness of our existence. I have heard many people say that no such specific occasion marks a day for celebration, if you relish something, you can do it anytime. Honestly, I humbly differ in this - I think such special occasions help us celebrate few such blessings with a pinch of more relevance.
NEVER LET THE CHILD IN YOU GET LOST WITHIN!
This is very true for a balanced sustenance of humans. I recently got to know that when a child is born, his/her brain consists of about 100 billion brain nerve cells, also known as neurons. No one can wildly guess that each neuron has a capacity to store multiple gigabytes of data. Have you ever wondered why a child instantly registers anything that he sees in his mind and he tries to imitate things. He is very happy to see anything that is new, he enjoys every small thing, everything that he sees and everything that he hears. He has various expressions - he has fear, he has happiness, has delight among so many others. Though a child may show fear or scare, he may weep or cry but just a tender hug or mere presence of someone comforts him and he smiles again. Even when he is thrown up in the air, he giggles because he trusts that the person who has done this also has a way to hold him back. This is the original beauty of every human.
What happens when we grow up? The newness of everything is exploited and manipulated by numerous perceptions and convictions that we have fed into our own brains. At times of despair, we even stop trusting the intention of the Almighty by questioning him about the pain that he might have planted on our way. Learning and experiences should make us wiser and better but not at the expense of loosing our original beautiful values.
Try imbibing the qualities of a child and you can see what wonders it does to our personalities. Innocence, truthfulness, delight, inquisitiveness, trust and various other such values should define a childhood and your life too. These take away nothing but give you a lot of joy and peace to manage everything that comes as a speed breaker in the journey call LIFE.
