How much do you earn? A lot!

"A streak of light was peeping in, But my mornings were dark. Engulfed were the worries of yesterday, Deep down were their marks. The light wanted to give me some hope, But I was failing to let it embark. Thoughts and action would have found a path, If only I had allowed that small ray of light, in me to park." The world of advertising is so fascinating. We have numerous advertisements coming to us in different ways through different platforms. Digital media, in fact, is surviving primarily on the ad revenues that it generates from every nook and corner of a webpage. The digital media advertising alone amounted to about USD270 billion in 2017 (Source: Statistica 2017) Though these ads do not result in direct sales, why do companies spend so much on these instead of adjusting those spends against giving direct discounts to customers at the point of sale? Creating an image – brand recall, brand equity, loyalty, significance – all of these are the r...

Happy Children's Day

"Music is in the ringing bells, Wonders engulf my every step, Delighted am I as each passing moment has a story to tell, Happiness and Charm lie just at the doorstep!! " Happy Children's Day Everybody! This is one occasion which is an awesome time to celebrate the innocence, tenderness, newness, utter happiness of our existence. I have heard many people say that no such specific occasion marks a day for celebration, if you relish something, you can do it anytime. Honestly, I humbly differ in this - I think such special occasions help us celebrate few such blessings with a pinch of more relevance. NEVER LET THE CHILD IN YOU GET LOST WITHIN! This is very true for a balanced sustenance of humans. I recently got to know that when a child is born, his/her brain consists of about 100 billion brain nerve cells, also known as neurons.  No one can wildly guess that each neuron has a capacity to store multiple gigabytes of data. Have you ever wondered why a child instan...

Its Not New for Me....... To Aspire

It’s not New for me …… To Aspire Hey Friends, on most of the occasions when we feel low, we tend to feed some terrible thoughts into our minds – ‘Nobody understands me’; ‘My situation is the worst’; ’No body supports me’ and many other similar customized versions. When I say terrible , the word derives its suitability from the outcome which is created by these small simple sentences. Our mind loses positivism and brain is engulfed with all un-resourceful thoughts and beliefs too. While most of us realize sooner or later, that the particular situation was just another phase; the harm of the moment and some outcomes created then - can never be reversed. On the other hand, positive thoughts not only create a resourceful state of mind but also give us ability to design a solution oriented path. The challenge comes when we are required to develop this condition when external factors seem to go against our desired conditions. I would like to leave you all with a small crea...

Be Informed And Involved

Known is the hospitality, but inconvenience is a crime Yes I know who the culprit is; plethora of information helps me define? Thanking the mushrooming media networks of today, we are all supplied with huge amounts of data that feeds into our preferred belief segment. We attract what we believe – is the concept yet again applicable here. We have been given a power machine which thinks and perceives, but if we feed in inferior raw materials, the output is certain to be sub-standard and vice versa holds true as well. Many a times, urge of speaking or opinionating about a person, situation or incident super-powers our rational thinking. We force ourselves to follow a league whose motive or thoughts we may or may not have completely comprehended. This can be hugely catastrophic as others who follow to join our league then, will also be sharing this ‘raw and still unreliable data’ as ‘information’. Whenever we hear revered personalities like Late Mr. Abdul Kalam Azad, Mother...

Attitude of Gratitude

“Thankful am I for the colours around me, The bright rising Sun is my Happiness Key, Joyous am I when I am around this beautiful Nature, Peace sinks in and here I completely set myself free.” Attitude as defined by most of the existing dictionaries refers to “a settled way of thinking or feeling about something”. Now where is this settled thought or belief getting generated? It is certainly within our own minds and sub-conscious being. As our body grows and develops in proportion and response to what we feed it, our mental abilities and thoughts grow in response to what we feed in it through our perceptions, thoughts and external signals. World has become more restless and temperaments are high – And WE constitute the world. If we say that things are changing, people are changing, relationships are changing – we mostly refer to our (including own and the environment) beliefs and thoughts that are getting altered. Our ‘Attitude’ is the essence here as it guides us an...

I AM MY BEST COMPANION

Standing beside the enlightened street, looking at the crowd so busy, I try to find myself a friend to share my laughter and pain; Partying with friends and dancing in the music so noisy, I still long for a quiet and comfort filled evening, with that dear companion. Many a times we feel lonely and not too often does this loneliness give us a feeling of strength or positivity. It is true that humans are social animals and we live on the concept of inter-dependency and lack of it shifts our position from the zone of comfort. We need people around us and we bind with them through various relations, some of which are made by God and others by us. In this entire scenario of social ecosystem, do we often realize that we are somewhere distancing ourselves from the most relevant network which can work wonders for us. We are infact getting away from our own selves and from the central processing unit of our existence – our Mind, our Sub conscious network. It is very true that ...
